Since January of this year I have been filming with all my friends riding bikes. It seams like it has been forever, all the injuries, people, new tricks, and places it has taken me has been a dream come true. Riding with really skilled people has done nothing but inspired me. Once I got to college things slowed down, filming every other weekend and only for limited time. The kid Brian editing the video called and told everyone that the deadline for footage was thanksgiving, once we heard this news it was a mad dash to get clips. Every weekend for a month and even during the week I have been going out with my friends filming tricks. Time restrictions really pushed me toward learning new things; it took away my fears to try things that were out of my range. Last weekend Brian called me he told me to look on the Internet on this popular BMX site, I checked it out and I was amazed. Brian had made a promotion video advertising out video. That promo made it on the site, the editor of that website and a popular bmx magazine RIDEbmx, posted a comment under the video " Brian when the video is finished send us a copy to review for the magazine." we were all excited, Brian got all of our final clips and got to work on editing. Brian is still in the process of editing but is nearly done. This Friday is the premiere. It is taking place at a bar in my friend’s college. Everyone is anticipating a large turnout; some local pros are coming to watch and party afterwards. This is one of my greater achievements I can remember completing. I am counting down the days until Friday, I am bringing a couple of my friends from here to come and watch. I am curious to see what is to come from the magazine review.
